Visit to Fisherman's workplace Today I got a chance to visit workplace of a fisherman though it was not beside river but a small pond in village’s fields. Talking with them whether they stay permanently here. Man replied that it's temporary till the time pond do not get dry. Every day they eat food carried by family members who lives in village. Whole day they are busy in catching fish to sell in evening hut. Their children go to government school and help in work also.
Generally fish get sell with price of Rs.100/120 per kg which is only source of income for them.
I observed the satisfaction on their face of their work despite of low irregular income. Placing myself in their shoes. it will be not possible for me to lead this tough life.
